MISSION
The webzine Telemeditalia (www.telemeditalia.it) is promoting in co-operation with Cisco Systems Italy a Network project called “Telemed International Club” (Tic), aimed to develop cultural and professional activities in the fields of telemedicine, e-health, telecare, e-learning and in general concerning healthcare.
It is a “creative network”, conceived in cooperation with international partners, that will help to compare ideas, programmes, initiatives and projects in the fields above, creating a real international community, which will be able to produce relevant results in a cultural and professional aspect. The network will create interactive occasions and professional exchange, but also the chance to promote cultural and professional dedicated events.
The network services are entirely free, and are mostly based on the carrying out of webinars and on the creation of specialized focus-groups. Relevant topics for these webinars and focus groups will concern aspects and development in the Ict world. Communications and information activity will be carried out also with newsletters and e-mail.
The network will be a valid occasion for periodical cultural and professional meetings concerning Ict developments in healthcare, telemedicine and e-health in the world, using the most advanced web procedures.
Joining the Tic doesn’t involve any form of subscription fee payment, since the Club’s activities will be financed with external contributions and sponsorships. Subscription is reserved to people, companies and institutions concerned in any way with the Club’s mission, and it will be evaluated through any applicant’s professional features. Access to the Tic’s website will be possible with a unique username and password that each member will possess.
English is the official network’s language, though other languages will be accepted.
Rules of the Tic and subscription form will be published next. Indications will be given on the operative Tic’s team.
If you are interested in the network, please feel free to contact me (direttore@telemeditalia.it) for further info.
